Mel’s Diner: Chicken Dinner Special
1 pc Chicken breast
mixed vegetables
Diet Coke

Midnight snack
Larb chicken salad (mostly white chicken with lettuce and lime sauce)
Chinese Broccoli and some beef

    Not bad man! No rice or bad carbs. And I like that you chose a paleo meal for your midnight snack.

    But if I may suggest, rather than eating a midnight snack and then going to bed, it’s probably better that you eat more during dinner time. Eat until you’re full! Don’t overeat, but don’t leave yourself hungry either. If you need to order 2 pieces of chicken and a huge salad to get you full, do that. And add some fat to your meal, nuts, avocado or bacon is a good choice. Try not to eat 2 hours before you go to sleep.

    Forget what everyone says about saturated fat. They’re all good. So add a bacon or some animal fat on your food to get you full.

    Hey Hendra here, I don’t know if it’s bad for you to eat right before you sleep, but Zone stated that it’s important for you to do that since your body does a lot of repair for the 8h you sleep, and you need calories to fuel that repair. So they suggest a small snack before sleeping, actually.

    I don’t know, I need to read up more. Will get back to you on this JV
