9/3 – Breakfast (JV)

2 hard boiled eggs
1 cup of assorted fruit (mostly melon – my firm is cheap)

5th day of paleo.. feeling a bit better… haven’t checked the scale and have no intentions on doing so until maybe in another week but overall it feels good not to feel overstuffed with carbs. I’m not as lethargic or sleepy after meals and feel a little bit more energetic… maybe its psychological.

haven’t worked out though since last week, caught a slight flu so had to give the workouts a break this week. I don’t think my sparring partners will appreciate sparring with a sick guy. Will try to start again this weekend.

    hey jv, that’s a perfect paleo breakfast! great job!!! im so glad to hear that you’re feeling better and not sleepy after meals. i felt the same exact way when i just started paleo. no more 2pm crashes! ur off to a great start!

    load up on vitamin C (ester C is a good choice). i got a whole bunch here at home if you want some (at least 1000 mg) a day and you will get over the flu. dont take nyquil, dayquil, they only delay your symptoms but dont really make you feel better. vitamin C improves your immune system so u can fight the flu
