9/14 – Lunch/Dinner (JV)

Lunch:
Wexler’s SF
1 bowl of beef chili (no beans, just meat)
1 Vietnamese Beef Sandwich – (did not eat bread) – this was funny.. i should’ve taken a picture… after eating the beef inside the sandwich, my plate looked exactly like when it was brought out except the sandwich was just thinner.

Dinner
Le Petite Cafe
1 bowl of hot & sour shrimp soup with assorted veggies and pineapple (clear broth, no noodles).
a few pieces of chicken
a few pieces of catfish in claypot
1 mini piece of imperial roll (couldn’t resist)
no rice

Snack
3 pieces of left over catfish and 10 pieces of almond nuts – i was hungry after doing a WOD that day.

    Good choice of snack.

    JV, for your body type and level of activity, I don’t think you’re eating enough protein. Especially for dinner. You probably could order a plate of Salt and Pepper spareribs or something and then just a bunch of that until you’re full.

    Also, you might want to try to get some 100% Whey Protein. Go to Vitamin Shoppe and get the Optimum Nutrition brand. Sign up for their free membership, so if you don’t like it, you can return it. They’re ok with it, I’ve tried it before. Get a shaker too so you can take it around with you. And then take 1-2 scoops after a workout (WOD or Jiujitsu). I’m afraid you’re starving your muscles with the limited protein intake.

    Try to eat the amount that Jake and I are eating, that seems about right for you.
