9/20 – Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (Sharon)

Breakfast – 2 slices of bacon + 2 eggs scrambled with the bacon oil

Lunch – 1.5 handfuls of chopped artichokes marinated in a blend of parsley, garlic, oregano, sunflower oil, and extra virgin olive oil (shop-bought) + six sun-dried tomato stuffed green olives with extra virgin olive oil + one pork steak cooked with olive oil

Dinner – one chicken breast fillet marinated with Moroccan spices + a handful of boiled green peas.

    the next time you are here, you should definitely cook for us haha … those are great choices. i’m always lacking from the spices department but spices are actually very paleo so good choice on the lunch section.

    regarding oils, olive oil is ok, but sunflower oil is not so good. they are processed oils made for the supermarket. best is bacon fat =) but cooking everything with that can get old. so olive oil is ok, butter is ok too.

    I think butter is a good alternative too. Olive oil, clean as it is, is still plant-based and will raise your omega 6:3 ratio.

    As encouragement, butter taste great for cooking (2nd only to bacon fats)
